Ernest Shackleton leads 27 brave to the frozen provinces of Antarctica, on top  The wonderful "Endurance". They will return two years later, having survived in the skin of their teeth and mapped the latent passage to the frozen continent.

  The pioneers take the first step. By daring to discover new lands, break existing conceptions and explore new science, they become heroes of human culture and leave a deep imprint on human history.
